Billing Engineer
Role Overview:
As a Billing Engineer at Consort Builders, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the financial accuracy of projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee billing operations, rate analysis, material reconciliation, subcontractor billing, and final bill preparation to support smooth project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding contract documents, specifications, final offers, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
- Cost Estimation
- Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
- Rate Analysis
- Work and Quantity Verification
- Material Reconciliation
- Subcontractor Billing
- Managing Extra Items and Variations
- Documentation and Record Keeping
- Final Bill Preparation
- Claim Management
Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Total Years of Experience - Min. 5 years of experience in billing and cost management roles
- Preferred Age: 25 to 40 years
- Strong understanding of contract documents, specifications, and BOQs
- Proficiency in Cost Estimation and Rate Analysis
- Experience in Work and Quantity Verification
- Knowledge of Material Reconciliation and Subcontractor Billing
- Ability to handle Extra Items, Variations, and Claims
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
- Expertise in Final Bill Preparation and Claim Management
